Rooting is a process that allows users of mobile phones and other devices running the Android operating system to attain privileged control (known as "root access") within Android's Linux subsystem with the goal of overcoming limitations that carriers and manufacturers put on some devices. It is analogous to jailbreaking on devices running the Apple iOS operating system.

The answer to this question is very simple,that is we just need it.In other words, for some applications to work or to install another version or modified version of android we need to have full  and un-restricted access to system.We have perfect image attached to show the benefits of rooting

Is ROOTING dangerous ?

Well its not at all but still some people say that it can brick your device(means can damage your firmware or android software in this case or even worst case your device doesn't starts at all),but believe it never happened to anybody who clearly followed the steps and not tried to over-smart by skipping required steps

Also it voids warranty for some manufactures (we have a remedy for that,so don't worry about that,even we also have remedy for above problem but we will discuss that later in some other post)

Every device has a different way to get ROOT privileges,you can Google for your specific device some apps used for rooting are Z4root,universal root,etc.
